Hello I am finally feeling energetic and not lazy enough to do a riff or commentary or what ever on something I copy and paste on the web. To FamilyFriendlyGamings review of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

"The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword takes the franchise in some new directions. First off Link and others are above the clouds on floating islands. They are bonded to these giant birds. Link's bird looks a lot like a Ho-Oh. This Wii game talks about the birds and human like characters (with Vulcan ears) are two parts of the same half. One of many references to eastern beliefs."

Me: *looks at a photo of Ho-Ho then to Links Loftwing* other then being red and birds how on earth are they the same? I mean I know it has been ages since I played Pokemon Gold and Silver and Crystal but Ho-Ho looks nothing like Link's Loftwing also I do not think I seen anyone in Skyloft throwing Pokeballs at the Loftwings though now I have that funny image in my head of Zelda just going Pokeball go and throwing it at her pretty blue Loftwing. Oh and other thing review named Frank the cast of Zelda are elves technically I would call them Hylians but well Skyword Sword takes place before Ocarina of Time.

"The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword is the best looking Zelda game yet. The human characters look very realistic. Nintendo is definitely improving upon their facial expressions. These little details visually add depth that can draw many players in. The color schemes are very good as well. The forest is mainly greens, the bad guys are darker hues, etc."

Me: I really have no complaint here other then they are elves not humans but that is a nitpick.

"The flying aspect in parts of The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword is really cool. I did have some irritation with controlling it during certain parts of the game. The controls are not that difficult to master, but chasing down another bird became a lengthy exercise in near futility. I did eventually manage to complete that part. I needed a break after wards though."

Me: wow I am impressed so far this guy hasn't complained about the fact that this game has a made up Goddess.

"Tons of religious content in The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. The goddess is all over this game. As well as the goddess reborn. For me this is a major turn off. I do not comprehend why the religious content was ignored when The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword was regionalized for a country where the majority are Christian. I understand they have that belief over there. But shoving it down our throats in a generally respected and loved franchise is going to turn people away from this franchise."

Me: oh come on what is with this website and freaking out over video game gods and goddesses?! An again are these people really that spiritually weak that just seeing a God or Goddess in a video game is enough to make them go crazy. Man I am getting flashbacks of that review of Fire Emblem awaking I did a riff on ages ago only that one also had the added benefit of complaining about a grown woman being dressed as a belly dancer while adult dragon girl that is over 1,000 years old but looks like she is not past age ten is dressed in what we might as well call a bikini top and a thing that does not even look like a skirt. I mean really Nowi is an okay design but not the adult woman that is a belly dancer. But I have gone off topic enough let me get back back on topic.

"Additional voice content is nice. Music is orchestra level. The version of The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword that Family Friendly Gaming was provided included a golden Special Orchestra CD. This is great for fans that can not get enough of The Legend of Zelda music. I noticed improvements in the voices of The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword from previous Zelda games. I just wish some more of it was translated."

Me: I know it has been ages since I played Skyward Sword but I am pretty sure the game is still mostly grunts and randomly gibberish during cut scenes.

"Expect to go to many areas you have seen before. The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword has a different take on them. Most of the concepts still apply. Use the weapons to unlock new areas. Create the shortcuts by doing things like rolling logs so you can jump back up into an area. Work with the different characters, and perform their quests. The more creatures you help the more bonuses you will receive."

Me: I have nothing to say here.

"The Wii Motion Plus controller works great with The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword (note: Wii Motion Plus controller is needed to play this game). It can take a little getting used to at first though. Certain enemies can only be beaten by swinging the sword in certain directions. I have to admit I found this extremely tedious. Getting to add beacons to the maps is a cool feature that helped me get around the vast areas in The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword."

Me: yeah I do love that about Skyward Sword you do have to aim your sword swings to match the direction the enemy has their weapon and go the opposite of the as matter of fact the first boss in the game is the only time you never use the item you found in the dungeon to defeat him also it was fun that you could roll bombs like bowling balls.

"Fi is an odd character in The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword that looks like a ghost to me. I am not the only one either. This is not the only strange character I came across in The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. Some of them are from previous games. All of them have received a major upgrade, and look more realistic"

Me: well technically Fi is the spirit of the Goddess Sword which becomes the Master Sword at the end of the game in which Fi is forever sealed up in it and also Demise is pretty much the reason why Ganondorf after he was also sealed into the sword. Though someone might have to correct me if I am remembering wrong. Though you should of said how they are from other Zelda games because only ones I can remember is Link, Zelda, and Impa.
after not doing anything for like two weeks here is something.
